Apple Support

On Sunday afternoon I got a call from an unknown number: “Hi sir, this is ___. I’m calling you to say that your broken iPhone will be replaced with a new one. We have just received it with an express service and you can pick it up in our store.”. It took apple 10 days to pick up my phone, ship it to The Netherlands to the repair center and replace it with a new one. 10 Days is quick, if you know that they first told me I had to wait for 3 to 4 weeks. And replacing it with a complete new one was even better news grin. So in my opinion the Apple support for the iPhone is very good.

It took me only 5 minutes to attach my new iPhone to my MacBook Pro, sync all information again… and everything was back exactly like it was on my old iPhone. Ok, now let’s try our the bluetooth headset… attach the cable… headset recognized… charging… pairing… and ready to go. That was quick!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot: I even installed the firmware upgrade (v2.0.1). But not all the software problems that I noticed on the previous version are fixed. The iPint application sometimes crashes, but the iPod application not.

Conclusion: Heil iPhone grin.
