Extreme Makeover: Dimitri Edition

The last couple of weeks people started asking me the question: “What are you planning to do with your hair?”. The last time I went to the hairdresser was a couple of months ago, and since then my hair became longer and longer and longer… because it kept on growing. For the first time in my life I had long hairs. The reason for this was that I wanted to have a new hairstyle; I had to let it grow so the hairdresser could do something complete different with it.

De Cliént My normal hairdresser is getting older and isn’t familiar with the new trends, so it was time to start looking for a new hair salon. After doing some research and asking people where I could find a good salon, Katleen (an ex-colleague) came up with ’De Cliént‘ (’The Client’ in English). Katleen her hair is always a little bit different and you can immediately see that the hairdressers are very talented. So this week it was my turn for a makeover, and I’m very happy with the result. I now have much longer hair than I had in the past, and with a modern trendy look.

Me and my iPhone But this is not the end of my metamorphose. This week I also bought me an iPhone. My old cellular phone needed to be replaced more than a year ago: first the power went down from time to time, than the button ‘4’ broke, 3 months ago the joystick, ... and since one month I can’t make any calls anymore and can only send sms’s with it. So I was a lucky guy this week to be one of the first persons that could buy an iPhone in Belgium.

For a whole day I didn’t do anything else than playing around with my new toy. It has a lot of functionalities and is as good as Apple makes us believe. Although it’s expensive, it’s worth its money. There is just one thing I’m still missing on it: the TomTom navigation software. But if we can believe the rumors, they are working on it and it should be available within 6 months.

As you can read, it was the week of changes grin.
