- Since the late 90's the web is very popular, but it is still evolving rapidly. Keeping track of all the newest changes is important to be a good player in this technology.
- Attending Devoxx (Antwerp, Belgium) and @Media (London, United Kingdom).
- User interfaces:
- User interfaces are the most important part of a program or webpage. If it's not userfriendly, no-one will use it. That's why I want to put my focus more and more on this part.
- Basketball:
- I played for more than 14 years this sport, and was also active as a trainer/coach (Clem Scherpenheuvel & Basket Betekom). In this team sport it is important to have a winners mentality and a lot of team spirit. Without these competences it is impossible to function good as a group. In the role as team captain and coach you must take your responsibilities and have to know how to motivate others.
- Now taking care of the Digital Signage in the VIP Lounge of Leuven Bears (Basketball team in the 1st devision in Belgium).
- Apple stuff:
- Easy to use and userfriendly, these are keywords for all the apple products, which give me a lot of inspiration. Also the keynotes of Steve Jobs are worth looking at.
